About the Role
- Strategic Leadership: Translate Malt’s global strategy into actionable team priorities, territory mapping, and account allocations.
- Team Development: Manage, coach, and develop team members to elevate their global execution, ensuring a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Sales Governance: Lead rigorous forecasting reviews, ensuring deep MEDDIC discipline, pipeline quality, and impeccable CRM accuracy.
- Deal Strategy & Support: Partner with GAMs on complex negotiations and renewal strategies. You will join strategic client meetings to build rapport with Champions and secure access to Economic Buyers.
- Global Expansion: Oversee the deployment of Malt across different countries and entities, identifying and removing operational blockers to ensure contract revenue realization.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the bridge between your team and Ops, Legal, Finance, and Product to approve commercial strategies for major global MSAs and RFPs.
- Performance Monitoring: Proactively identify risks in account health or pipeline and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are hit or exceeded.
- Insight Advocacy: Bring frontline client insights to the Executive Committee (ExCom) and Product teams to influence the future of the Malt platform.
About You
- A minimum of 10 years of experience, with a proven ability to manage senior sales professionals and Global Account Managers (GAMs).
- Strong "sales-first" background with a proven track record of closing and managing massive, multi-million pound global enterprise accounts.
- Deep understanding of multi-country enterprise sales cycles, complex global procurement processes, and intricate renewal/expansion structures.
- Proven experience operating within a complex matrix organization, managing teams across international borders where success is interdependent.
- Experience handling international account consolidation and aligning bonuses or targets across multiple geographies.
- Deep experience in the Tech/SaaS sector; you understand the "Malt model" or similar platform-based economies.
- Proven track record in coaching GAMs, building team capabilities, and driving consistent high performance in a leadership capacity.
- Complete mastery of MEDDIC and Salesforce for forecasting accuracy and sales governance.
- Ability to provide strategic guidance on global opportunities and influence C-level stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Full professional fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in French, Spanish, German, Dutch, or Italian is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for key client meetings and international events.

- Final interview with a C-Level leader to discuss Malt’s long term vision and to check any remaining questions (30-45 minutes).
