Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded Head of FX Sales within the Global Markets division. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the FX sales strategy, managing and developing the FX Sales team, and driving revenue growth across FX products.

This role requires close collaboration with Private Banking, Trading, and other internal stakeholders to deliver tailored FX solutions, while ensuring adherence to regulatory and risk management standards in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the FX Sales team in Singapore, fostering a high-performance and client-centric culture and being accountable for the output of the FX sales team
  • Translate the functional vision of FX sales into clear plans and priorities and contribute materially to GM revenue targets
  • Define and execute FX sales strategies to grow revenues across spot, forwards, options, and structured FX products.
  • Partner with Private Banking teams to identify client opportunities and deliver bespoke hedging and investment solutions.
  • Provide market insights and actionable FX strategies based on macroeconomic trends and currency movements.
  • Collaborate with Trading team to ensure competitive pricing, efficient execution, and innovative product delivery.
  • Oversee sales pipeline, revenue forecasting, and performance reporting across both locations and ensuring the delivery of revenue and profitability targets
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks in Singapore and Hong Kong.
  • Drive product innovation and enhance the FX value proposition within the Private Banking platform.
  • Mentor and develop team members, strengthening technical expertise and client engagement capabilities.
  • Represent FX Sales in relevant internal forums and committees, managing relationships with diverse and senior stakeholders

Role Requirement

  • Significant experience in FX Sales within FX markets in Private Banking or Investment Banking, with a strong track record in Asia.
  • Deep expertise in FX products, including derivatives and structured solutions.
  • Proven leadership experience managing regional teams, ideally across Singapore and Hong Kong. Ability to handle global client activity during Asia hours.
  • Strong client relationship skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies clearly.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments in both jurisdictions.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities and commercial acumen.
