  • Operational Excellence & Investigation:
    • Lead and optimize end-to-end fraud operations, from application screening and transaction monitoring to complex investigations and chargeback management.
    • Establish best-in-class fraud investigation processes, ensuring timely, efficient, and thorough resolution of suspicious activities.
    • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for fraud losses, recovery rates, and operational efficiency, driving accountability and performance.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of fraud analysts, data scientists, and operations specialists.
    • Foster a collaborative, data-driven, and growth-oriented team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.
    • Provide coaching, development opportunities, and performance management to empower your team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner closely with our world-class Analytics, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to embed fraud prevention seamlessly into product design and customer journeys.
    • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.
    • Engage with industry consortia and third-party vendors to share intelligence and enhance collective fraud prevention efforts.
  • Risk & P&L Management:
    • Integrate fraud risk management into the broader enterprise risk framework, advising on risk appetite and mitigation strategies.
    • Potentially hold P&L accountability for fraud-related losses and prevention costs, demonstrating a clear impact on financial performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering) or a related discipline. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in fraud management within the FinTech or online lending space, with a proven track record of innovation and impact.
