What We Need

We’re looking for an experienced Head of FP&A to join our Finance team and play a pivotal role in guiding Yieldmo’s growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee and enhance our financial planning systems while leading a team that drives the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. Yieldmo’s FP&A function is central to the business: owning our financial forecast model, producing materials for the Board of Directors and investors, supporting equity raises and financial transactions, and working closely with leaders across the organization to provide actionable insights.

This is a highly visible opportunity to influence the trajectory of a fast-growing technology company. You’ll leverage advanced modeling skills while also collaborating with stakeholders across every department to evaluate financial impact, shape budgets, surface KPIs, and communicate progress against strategic goals. The right candidate brings a strong foundation in finance and accounting, deep experience working with complex financial models in Excel and Google Sheets, and the ability to combine detail orientation with big-picture perspective. What You Can Expect In This Role

  • Lead the company’s short and long-term financial forecast models, including headcount planning
  • Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders by delivering financial analysis, decision support, and actionable recommendations
  • Translate financial results and trends into insights, recommending corrective actions when performance diverges from plan
  • Provide deal analysis and pricing models that shape product strategy and client proposals
  • Manage all personnel-related financial planning, including compensation plans, payroll forecasting, and partnership with HR and Accounting
  • Design and scale financial processes that drive automation, efficiency, and accuracy across the organization
  • Own reporting of financial metrics and KPIs for senior leadership, board materials, and investor communications
  • Support equity raises, capital events, and other strategic financial transactions
  • Facilitate annual and ongoing strategic planning and operational forecasting cycles

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of finance experience, including direct FP&A leadership; personnel expense planning a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven expertise building and improving financial models in Excel and Google Sheets; SQL skills a plus
  • Track record of supporting business growth through forecasting, scenario planning, and operational insights
  • Experience in advertising technology or a high-growth SaaS environment is a strong advantage
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and influence cross-functional stakeholders with clear, data-driven communication

Nice to Haves

  • Background in investment banking, venture capital, or private equity
  • Familiarity with ad tech, media, or subscription-based business models
  • Hands-on experience with Looker, Netsuite, Adaptive, or similar financial and data platforms
  • Programming skills (SQL, Python, VBA, or similar)
  • MBA or other advanced business/finance training

Hiring Process

Select candidates will be invited to schedule a 30 minute screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. We will discuss the Hiring Process details at that time. The hiring process typically includes, but is not limited to:

  • A 45 minute video interview with the Hiring Manager.
  • Candidates will be invited to join a remote on-site interview round, consisting of video interviews with various team members and leadership.
  • Successful candidates will subsequently be made an offer.

US Jobs: The base salary range for this role is: $180,000-$220,000 per year. The range listed is just one component of Yieldmo's total compensation package for employees. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience, level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. In these situations, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate. For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.
