The role is responsible for establishing, leading, and scaling the FP&A Prague Hub, a strategic finance capability center supporting Commercial Markets across Europe. The position combines FP&A leadership, people leadership, and organizational build-up responsibilities, with accountability for creating a high-performing team and building scalable capabilities that support regional planning, reporting, and analytical activities.
The Head FP&A Prague plays a key role in strengthening the European FP&A operating model by standardizing and harmonizing finance processes, driving continuous improvement, and consolidating activities to increase efficiency, productivity, and service quality. The role ensures strong collaboration with Country CFOs, Finance Business Partners, Regional Finance leadership, and the existing GCC India organization to deliver consistent and high-quality finance support across the region.
By establishing best-in-class processes and developing a high-performing organization from the ground up, the role contributes to finance transformation, enables data-driven decision making, optimizes resource allocation, and supports the development of a world-class finance organization.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Lead the setup, development, and growth of the Prague FP&A Hub, including team structure, workforce planning, and a high-performance culture.
Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a team of FP&A professionals while building a strong talent pipeline and succession bench.
Lead the delivery of FP&A activities for European markets across the CCE and SECE clusters, operating as an integrated extension of country FP&A teams.
Support all planning cycles, including Target Setting, Strategic Planning, Latest Outlooks, Monthly Forecasts, and market financial plans.
Ensure high-quality management reporting, business performance analysis, month-end closing support, and actionable financial insights for decision-making.
Build strong partnerships with Country CFOs, Regional Finance Leadership, Commercial Finance teams, and GCC India FP&A leadership to drive aligned processes, governance, and service delivery.
Develop a balanced operating model combining standardized, centralized processes with tailored support for individual country needs, driving efficiency, consistency, and cost-effectiveness.
Drive finance transformation, harmonization, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement through best-in-class processes, systems, and global finance initiatives.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
8+ years of FP&A experience at country or cluster level, including finance leadership experience in an SSC or finance transformation environment.
Experience working in multi-location and multi-market environments.
Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
Proven experience collaborating with global counterparts and international stakeholders.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
Advanced financial systems and analytical skills, including SAP, Excel, and data analytics platforms, combined with strong communication skills.
