Job DescriptionThe Head of FM – Supply Chain & Procurement, sets the strategic procurement direction for Sodexo across the category of FM Products and Services. This role brings industry-leading knowledge to establish best practices in Procurement and Supply. The role will create, own and implement a strategic roadmap that enhances the value offered by the Supply function to the wider business.
Job Scope
- Develop and implement the FM roadmap for the Supply Chain function.
- Manage and mentor the FM Supply team to deliver on agreed goals.
- Establish innovative ways of working to drive value within the organisation.
- Partner with and influence key stakeholders to drive adoption of SC activities
- Ownership of Corporate Governance across the function
- Contribute to development of Supplier Relationship Management within the wider business
Responsibilities
- Lead FM Supply Management function team.
- Develop and manage the strategic planned activities for supplier goods and services across FM categories for Australia.
- Create Supply Chain strategies that maximise the efficiency & effectiveness of Supply Chain. Key focus on process improvements that support business operations, drive sustained profitability and deliver client satisfaction.
- Implement and communicate change in Procurement processes to drive adoption of new methods of business engagement.
- Ownership and delivery of annual savings targets and efficiency improvements Manage cost & quality through deployment of best practice Procurement and Supply initiatives.
- Align to Corporate and Social Responsibility values. (i.e., Indigenous Sourcing, Environmental Reductions, use of social impact vendors).
- Develop partnership strategies to enable long-term cost reduction, supplier continuity, innovation and quality outcomes to drive the respective category forward.
- Support roll-out of the source to contract (S2C) process to ensure a structured approach is applied when the team is establishing contracts between Sodexo and Suppliers.
- Engage at a Senior leadership level with Business Development and Projects functions. Enable the winning and retention of work predicated upon accuracy, timeliness, cost, points of differences and alignment to the order wining criteria.
- Manage contracts to ensure achievement of cost, quality and delivery requirements.
- Act as a senior member of the wider Supply function - training, developing and mentoring staff. Ensure succession plans are in place and actioned.
- Provide Leadership and Coaching to ensure that Supply Management operates as a high performing team.
- Lead and role model behaviours that reflect a commitment to Sodexo values and fosters a culture which leverages the benefits of diversity and ensures respect for people.
