The Position
The Opportunity:
Pharma Technical Operations (PT) is involved in producing every Roche medicine – from the development process through clinical trials and continuing to product maturity. Our organization coordinates all aspects of production of Roche medicines in all disease areas and dosage forms. This position will support the PT Operations in Singapore.
We are looking for a Finance Enterprise Partner (Head of Finance) supporting Pharma Technical Operations. Our team plays an integral role in the business, unlocking business value through delivery of high-quality financial insights and providing transparency for decision-making. You will bring strong technical expertise together with the ability to constructively challenging the status quo and work in a self-aligning team with minimal hierarchy. In addition, there is the opportunity to have impact by leading or participating in network-wide initiatives as part of a global finance team.
As the Head of Finance, you are responsible for:

Partner closely with the leadership by providing financial leadership and strategic insights. Form trusted relationships across the enterprise with key business leaders and steer business outcomes. Understand how the site fits into our network and be a catalyst to multiply opportunities across the organization

Understand Finance's unique contribution when translating key business priorities into financial strategies and outcomes to achieve our Pharma and PT ambitions

Own the Financials though integrating operational knowledge and financial acumen. Understand the key drivers to variances and provide actionable insights that drive performance, influence decision-making

Own and present key financial data and strategies in support of annual planning (OPEX and CAPEX) in alignment with long-term enterprise goals. Surface risks and opportunities that could affect business performance and recommend actions for course corrections

Apply rigor and business acumen to business case reviews for site and network capital projects. Develop a strong understanding of underlying operational, strategic and financial implications. Enable transparency and ensure decisions are made considering the impact to the broader organization. Provide financial leadership for multi-site projects as required

Participate/lead squads to improve business processes or network-wide initiatives. Support manufacturing network harmonization efforts to ensure consistent financial treatment across sites

Responsible for all aspects of the financial management of the Singapore Technical Operations manufacturing legal entity

Ensure legal entity financial statements are accurate and aligned with both local and International accounting standards.

Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place, and manage internal and external audit activities.

Manage and ensure compliance to local government requirements to maintain tax incentive status and benefits or obtain new incentives

Act as Compliance Officer for RSTO, ensuring the company is compliant with all external and internal regulations and policies.
