You'll own day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, cash management, ERP, budgeting, procurement controls, and financial processes while partnering closely with leadership and external finance partners. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building systems from scratch and helping scale a fast-growing defense technology company.

  • Manage month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management, including monthly budget vs. forecast reporting.

  • Support fundraising, due diligence, data rooms, and board reporting.

  • Partner with External Auditors on the year-end audit and with outside tax advisors on tax planning, including identifying available tax breaks (e.g., land and equipment).

  • Manage finance operations across the U.S. and Israeli entities, including state, federal, and local tax filings, payroll, and statutory reporting in both jurisdictions.

  • Build and improve finance processes, controls, and internal policies for employees expenses.

  • Administer equity programs (option grants, 409A, cap table) across U.S. and Israeli plans.

  • Oversee legal and compliance matters spanning the U.S. and Israel, partnering with outside counsel as needed, insurance programs (D&O, GL, property), and renewals.

  • Identify and secure government and municipal incentives, tax abatements, grants, and location-based programs across all operating jurisdictions.

  • Review and negotiate leases, vendor agreements, and other larger transactions and large purchases, ensuring compliance with company policy.

  • Manage treasury and lending strategy, with scenario analysis of debt options, interest cost, and runway impact.

  • Manage money market accounts, debits, and banking relationships.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or controllership.

  • Experience working in a startup or other fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Ability to build processes from scratch, adapt quickly, and be tech driven.

  • Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting.

  • Experience building or improving finance processes and internal controls.

  • Experience working with multiple legal entities or international operations.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.

  • Experience with ERP and accounting systems.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• CPA certification.

  • Experience in a venture-backed startup or high-growth technology company.

  • Experience in manufacturing, hardware, robotics, aerospace, defense, or another complex operating environment.

  • Experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, or hardware-related finance operations.

  • Experience implementing ERP, accounting, or finance systems.

  • Experience working with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and finance partners.

  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and board reporting.

  • Experience working with Israeli subsidiaries, Israeli accounting firms, payroll providers, or statutory reporting.
