Job Description
- Responsibility for the accounting and finance operations of our German business and oversee compliance of German entities;
- Responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts and the financial analysis, including P&L and BS key items review and budget tracking;
- Manage external audit(s) and lead the preparation of annual statutory financial statements (HGB) for the German entities;
- Interface with other departments and providing advice based on your expertise (e.g. implementation of new business streams and processes);
- Drive continuous improvements of our finance and accounting processes and identify opportunities for business improvement;
- In cooperation with the controlling team and the CFO, you will prepare coherent P&L, liquidity and balance sheet plans;
- Lead and mentor a team of 2 people;
- Report to our Director of Finance.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of working experience in the field of finance or accounting;
- Strong technical finance or accounting knowledge and a degree within Finance or Accounting;
- Experience in leading and developing of teams;
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections;
- Ability to delegate and manage the work of others whilst maintaining a hands-on operational perspective;
- Very good German and English language skills and an appreciative communication style, both written and spoken.
