Position Purpose:Lead all FPA activities for B2B globally, providing insightful and value-added analysis and decision support to the business leadership.Your Key Responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:- Support B2B CFO to achieve financial performance targets and proactively manage financial results, including strong business partnering with the different B2B LT members and functions, playing a key role as member of the B2B Extended LT.
- Lead the Business Planning & Analysis (BPA) colleagues and ensure all BPA cycle related activities are performed in high quality and a timely manner; manage and coordinate processes between divisions
- Support Strategy, Sales and new business to drive investment / divestment / portfolio decisions with clear recommendations considering Enterprise Value as key KPI for decision-making
- Lead the consolidation, presentation and interpretation of the financial results in a meaningful way to ensure effective decision-making. Challenge and investigate results with the objective of identifying gaps, check progress towards budget achievement and recommend gap closing actions assessing risks & opportunities. Ensure high-quality preparation of sales projections for short-term (LO) and long-term (TGT, MYF, LTP), leveraging on a strong collaboration with supply and sales teams
- Support Business Monitoring function to understand market trends, threats and opportunities that may impact B2B performance short and long term
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of the pricing strategy and initiatives, including developing TPC intelligence (capacity and absorption maps) in collaboration with manufacturing sites
- Pro-actively support and partner with other Sandoz commercial BPA Heads, with special focus on shadow sales process. Deputize for CFO B2B.
- Lead a team of 3-4 associates
- 12+ years of finance experience preferably in generic pharmaceuticals or FMCG. Fluent in English, knowledge of German advantageous
- Sound business/marketing acumen, preferably with experience in a Novartis or Sandoz Sales organization at global, regional or local level
- Experience in technical operations advantageous
- Proven analytical skills, highly numerate, experience in common statistical analysis and techniques, proficient user of common business intelligence systems.
- Experienced in planning tools (BPC) and SAP modules (FICO / SPMR)
