The Role

About This Role: 

As Head of Field Reimbursement, you will have national leadership responsibility over the Neuropsych Access Navigator (NAN) team, dedicated to optimizing patient access for PPD. You will be an expert in understanding all aspects of the Rx to dose process as well as the access & reimbursement dynamics of PPD. 

Reporting directly to the Head of the US Neuropsych Franchise, you will manage a team of NAN's and work cross functionally with Marketing, Sales, Insights & Analytics, Trade & Distribution, and Patient Access Services.

The Head of Field Reimbursement will lead the continued refinement of the Rx to dose strategy and define/develop the necessary tools, resources and processes in partnership with marketing and the HQ team in order to educate HCPs/offices towards best practices in Rx to dose.

You will lead initiatives, working with the NAN team, for existing and emerging customers in all aspects of Rx to dose support and education.  

What You’ll Do:

  • Set strategic direction for the Neuropsych Access Navigator (NAN) team to deliver on the key priorities on Rx to dose and the Neuropsych Franchise. Define NAN team strategy and execution priorities in support of brand and franchise objectives on an on-going basis.

  • Build, expand, and manage the NAN team through continuous coaching, development, and talent cultivation. Ensure all activities are fully compliant with company policies, procedures, applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards

  • Continuously refine the Rx to dose strategy to include all aspects of the support model – distribution network, specialty pharmacies, patient services, field reimbursement education and support, etc. Partner closely with the marketing lead on Rx to dose to co-lead the strategy.

  • Collaborate closely with the Neuropsych Account Manager (NAM) team and its leadership to ensure execution of the NAN team is strategically aligned with the NAM team.  Foster trust and partnership at regional and territory level to ensure the NANs and NAMs are working collaboratively to ensure pull through of Rx to shipments.

  • Define and drive the development of necessary tools, resources and processes to support the execution of the NAN team, partnering closely with the marketing team and payor channel marketing team.  Monitor the impact of the tools/resources and identify opportunities for greater impact.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years healthcare industry experience, including experience consulting, leading large/complex programs, and access and reimbursement preferred

  • 5+ years leadership experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, and influence in the matrix

  • Excellent interpersonal skills/ highly collaborative, with ability to work in a matrix environment with accountability to numerous stakeholders

  • Ability to cultivate strong internal/external network

  • Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of reimbursement (coding, coverage, and payment)

  • Effective problem-solving skills, decision-making, planning and organization

  • Exceptional business and clinical acumen with a thorough understanding of PPD market and competition.

  • Requires robust analytical capabilities to assess key metrics for tracking performance both at a national and regional level to enhance process and performance.

  • Strategic planning, reimbursement technical knowledge, relationship management, payer policy knowledge, and marketing and sales experience to develop effective reimbursement strategy and tactics that achieve results and meet business objectives

  • Travel required

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $186,000.00-$256,000.00


Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
