The Head of ETF Strategy & Partnerships Taiwan will be responsible for leading the development and execution of AllianceBernstein’s ETF strategy for Taiwan. The successful candidate will work closely with the global ETF team and local stakeholders to develop and execute the ETF strategy for the country including product development, distribution, and sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute ETF strategy including assessing market demand, product placement, and distribution opportunities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote ETFs to institutional and retail clients in Taiwan
- Work closely with business development team to produce product plan and supporting content
- Work closely with AB Taiwan institutional and retail sales team to build client base, attend client meetings and events
- Act as ETF subject matter expert for AB Taiwan in areas of product structure, industry trends, competitors, and product methodology
- Provide training, visits, and seminars to serve securities companies to enhance the product awareness and promotion of our ETFs
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop marketing materials
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry developments to provide clients with relevant information and insights
- Interface with Press, regulators etc. to represent the firm on our efforts in ETFs in Taiwan
- Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and stay informed on industry developments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
- Demonstrated track record of ETF business plan development and business building success
- Proven experience of engaging with clients and media to promote ETF investments
- Possess SITE/SICE relevant license
- Strong knowledge of ETFs and the financial markets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze opportunities/issues and to recommend business solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is required
- Minimum 10 years experience in ETFs
Skills:
- Familiar with SITE/SICE regulations and asset management industry general compliance
- Familiar with investment market and products
- Deep understanding of ETF business strategy and extensive experience of promoting through brokerage relationships
- Entrepreneurial- willing to help build the AB ETF business
- Strong interpersonal skills for relationship management
- Existing relationships in ETF industry
