Our client is a large corporate group managing a portfolio of complex investment, construction, industrial, and technical projects.

Engineering Design and Technical Documentation
  • Lead and manage the development of technical designs, construction drawings, and design verification activities for the Company’s projects.
  • Review and control the quality, accuracy, and consistency of technical documents, drawings, specifications, and design dossiers throughout project implementation.
  • Coordinate with engineering consultants and design partners to ensure that technical documentation meets project requirements, applicable regulations, and approved standards.
  • Identify technical inconsistencies or design risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Technology and Engineering Solutions
  • Research, assess, and recommend suitable technologies, equipment, and engineering solutions based on the technical requirements and characteristics of each project.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of technologies and engineering solutions during project preparation, design, and implementation stages.
  • Coordinate with technology partners, engineering consultants, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers throughout project execution.
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility, efficiency, reliability, and compatibility of proposed technologies and equipment.
Tendering and Project Preparation Support
  • Coordinate with the Commercial and Planning Department to develop technical solutions, scopes of work, technical specifications, quantities, and construction methodologies for tender submissions.
  • Evaluate the technical and technological feasibility of potential projects before tender participation or investment implementation.
  • Provide technical input for tender documents, contractor proposals, project plans, and technical clarification processes.
  • Coordinate with the Group’s procurement function to conduct technical evaluations of equipment, materials, suppliers, and technology partners.
Technical Support during Construction
  • Work closely with the Construction Department and project teams to address technical issues arising at construction sites.
  • Monitor and review compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, engineering standards, and construction requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations regarding design modifications, construction methods, equipment installation, and engineering issues.
  • Participate in technical inspections, testing, commissioning, acceptance, and handover of project works and equipment.
Engineering Standards and Technical Systems
  • Develop, standardize, and regularly update engineering standards, technical procedures, specifications, and technical guidelines applied across the Company’s projects.
  • Establish appropriate technical review and control mechanisms to maintain consistency and quality throughout project implementation.
  • Research and recommend engineering improvements, technological innovations, and new applications to improve project efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
  • Promote the sharing of technical knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices across project teams.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Coordinate with the Commercial and Planning Department, Construction Department, procurement function, project teams, design consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, and technology partners.
  • Participate in project meetings and technical discussions as required by senior management.
  • Provide clear technical assessments and recommendations to support management decisions.
  • Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Scope of Responsibility
  • The position holds primary responsibility for the engineering and technology solutions applied to the Company’s projects.
  • The role is responsible for managing engineering design activities, technical documentation, engineering standards, technical reviews, and technology evaluations.
  • The position provides technical support throughout project preparation, tendering, construction, testing, commissioning, and acceptance.
  • The role does not directly manage project costs, commercial contracts, or economic planning, which remain under the responsibility of the relevant Commercial and Planning function.
  • The position does not directly organize construction activities or manage construction sites, which remain under the responsibility of the Construction Department and project execution teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in engineering management, design management, or technical implementation of construction, industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects.
  • Experience in EPC projects, power plants, energy facilities, or other technically complex projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of engineering design processes, technical documentation, construction methods, equipment systems, testing, commissioning, and project acceptance.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, evaluate, and select appropriate technologies, equipment, and engineering solutions.
  • Strong technical leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with engineering consultants, contractors, suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and technology partners.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues arising throughout project preparation and implementation.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams and projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Skills Required
