Sendify is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our engineering team and help shape how we build products as the company grows.

We are a logistics technology company helping small and mid-sized businesses access better shipping rates, smarter tools, and a simpler way to manage logistics. Today, thousands of customers use Sendify across Sweden and Germany, and we are building toward a much larger European opportunity.

Our engineering team works across three product areas and collaborates closely with Product and Design. We are now looking for a dedicated leader who can develop the team, raise the bar, and keep engineering closely connected to customer and business needs.

Your role & responsibilites

As Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for the people, culture, and performance of the engineering organisation.

You will lead and develop our engineers, support strong technical decision-making, and create the conditions for teams to deliver high-quality products at a sustainable pace.

This is a leadership role for someone who still understands the craft. You will not be expected to write production code every day, but you should be comfortable discussing architecture, reviewing technical decisions, and working closely with senior engineers.

You will report to the Director of Product Development and collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data, and our Principal Architect.

  • Lead and grow a talented engineering team across three product areas.

  • Shape how Sendify uses AI to build better products and move faster.

  • Bring engineers closer to customers, so they help define the problem, not just deliver the solution.

  • Create the conditions for a small, senior team to have outsized impact.

  • Build one strong engineering culture with high standards, clear ownership, and very little bureaucracy.

  • Work closely with Product, Design, Data, and our Principal Architect to turn ambitious ideas into real products.

  • Make the big calls on people, priorities, and ways of working.

  • Help define what excellent engineering looks like at Sendify as we scale.

What you’ve probably seen before

You’ve led engineers in a high-performing product company and know what starts to break as teams scale: slower decisions, unclear ownership, inconsistent standards, and too much distance between Engineering and Product.

You’ve helped teams raise the bar without adding bureaucracy, developing strong engineers, tackling underperformance, improving delivery, and creating a culture where people take ownership and do their best work.

You’ve also formed a practical view on AI-assisted development: where it creates real leverage, where it adds risk, and what high performance looks like when writing code is no longer the bottleneck.

What we are looking for

You have a strong background in software engineering and moved into leadership because you enjoy helping other engineers succeed.

You are comfortable working with experienced engineers and do not need to be the expert in every room. You know how to create clarity, ask the right questions, and help teams make better decisions.
