Your Impact:
We are seeking a talented and experienced DevSecOps leader to oversee and manage the company’s information security strategies, DevOps team and IT operations. You will ensure the smooth functioning of IT services, safeguarding digital assets, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and supporting continuous integration and delivery practices through effective DevOps management. This position will report directly to the CTO.


What you'll do: Information Security Management, DevOps, Information Technology

  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Monitor and analyze security events, investigate incidents, and provide response and remediation support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into software engineering, business processes, and IT systems.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats and technologies, recommending enhancements to the company’s security posture.
  • Participate in security audits, assessments, compliance reviews, and respond to security-related inquiries.
  • Train employees on security awareness and enforce adherence to security protocols.
  • Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring their professional growth and operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust automation and deployment practices.
  • Provide strategic guidance on infrastructure and system reliability.
  • Ensure adherence to security practices within the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Coordinate closely with software development teams to align DevOps practices with business goals.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, or similar analytics and monitoring tools.
  • Stay informed about modern DevOps concepts, infrastructure automation, cloud services, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices.
  • Manage endpoint security including antivirus, patch management, and encryption for devices.
  • Ensure configuration and maintenance of network hardware, firewalls, VPNs, working closely with the DevOps team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network and connectivity issues promptly.
  • Lead efficient, responsive technical support across the organization.
  • Implement and manage ticketing systems and IT support workflows.
  • Oversee employee device and account provisioning and decommissioning.
  • Ensure timely hardware/software setup, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base for common IT support issues

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in IT and security management, with at least 2 years experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).Experience in security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI DSS).Experience in DevOps with a solid grasp of infrastructure automation, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and SRE principles.
  • Proficiency with Datadog, New Relic, or comparable monitoring and analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools, endpoint management, and asset tracking solutions.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel to branch offices as needed.
