About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

About the Position:
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Head of Design and Props to join the resort’s Entertainment Administration team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Lead the props department in the design, sourcing, fabrication, and maintenance of all props used in productions.
- Collaborate with directors, designers, and production managers to interpret artistic vision and ensure prop requirements are met.
- Manage the props budget, including purchasing, rentals, and labor costs.
- Supervise and schedule prop artisans, assistants, and run crew.
- Ensure all props are safe, functional, and meet performance standards.
- Maintain an organized inventory of props and materials.
- Coordinate prop changes and maintenance during rehearsals and performances.
- Oversee prop storage, transportation, and strike procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide training and mentorship to props staff and interns.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Technical Production, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in theatrical props management or related technical theatre role.
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong knowledge of prop construction techniques, materials, and tools.
- Familiarity with standard safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and technical documents.
- Required Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Creative problem-solving and adaptability.
- Effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in hand and power tools, fabrication techniques, and prop maintenance.
