The Role

You will lead the Data and Intelligence function, overseeing the entire data lifecycle, from ingestion and hygiene through algorithm development and implementation of brand safety models. Your job is to build a product strategy that treats data as the platform's secret sauce - ensuring every creator-brand match is systematic, efficient, and scalable.

What You’ll Do
  • Own Data Infrastructure and Insights: Assume ownership and extend existing infrastructure capabilities into a robust multi-source data infrastructure, ensuring continuous data hygiene and validation pipelines for first-party accuracy.
  • Develop Core Matching Algorithms: Develop and refine matching algorithms that connect brands and creators based on performance and fit, using ingested campaign data to inform matches.
  • Manage Data Collection: Collect, manage, and groom both first- and third-party data across the five major social platforms. This includes building scraping mechanisms to fill in data that isn't available through authenticated APIs.
  • Ensure Trust Infrastructure: Define and implement brand safety models and data governance frameworks to ensure compliance and trust for brands.
  • Collaborate on Outcomes: Partner closely with the Head of Creators and Head of Brands on shared OKRs to optimize match quality and brand-creator outcomes.
  • Execute Rapidly: Serve as a resourceful, senior-level individual who can quickly define the product and execute for the Alpha Launch timeline.
What You’ll Bring
  • Matching Algorithm Expertise: Prior experience working with large data sets and complex matching algorithms. Candidates from companies known for handling two-sided matching problems, are highly valued.
  • Technical Rigor: Proven ability to define the technical product, write user stories, and partner effectively with the engineering teams (including the AI/ML/Data Architect).
  • Data Strategy & Governance: Experience implementing robust data hygiene, brand safety, and validation pipelines for first-party data accuracy.
  • Efficiency at Scale: A focus on efficiency and scale in data processing and matching, moving beyond just general data knowledge.
  • Strong Execution: Experience operating at a senior product level where you can quickly jump right in, be resourceful, and have strong opinions about system architecture and data flow.
