Your Role
As Head of Data & AI at MAS Global, you will lead one of the company’s most strategic growth areas by shaping, scaling, and evolving our Data, AI, and Cloud practices. You’ll define high-impact, client-centric offerings that blend cutting-edge technology with real-world business value. This is a hands-on leadership role that bridges strategy, architecture, and execution, positioning MAS Global at the forefront of data-driven transformation. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, delivery, and executive leadership, while fostering a culture of innovation and mentoring the next generation of technical talent.
What You’ll Do
Shape Technology Strategy and Define Offerings
- Define and execute a forward-looking Data & AI strategy that supports MAS Global’s growth objectives and market direction.
- Design differentiated service offerings across cloud-native data platforms, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI.
- Stay ahead of technology trends and translate them into scalable, value-oriented capabilities for our clients.
- Partner with sales teams to craft high-impact, solution-driven proposals that address real business challenges.
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and use case development to shape AI-driven solutions tailored to client needs.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, bridging business context with deep technical insight across industries.
- Strengthen alliances with hyperscalers (Microsoft, AWS, Google, Snowflake) and AI leaders (Nvidia, OpenAI).
- Bring strategic relationships and domain knowledge to accelerate partnership growth and solution co-innovation.
- Represent MAS Global at industry events, contributing to our presence as thought leaders in the Data & AI space.
- Lead and scale high-performing technical teams specializing in data engineering, machine learning, AI, and cloud architecture.
- Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning across diverse, distributed teams.
- Design clear career paths, mentorship programs, and talent development strategies to attract, grow, and retain top-tier professionals in Data & AI.
- Establish scalable processes for hiring, coaching, and performance evaluation to ensure consistent delivery quality and support the long-term growth of the practice.
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure the successful execution of complex Data & AI initiatives.
- Promote technical excellence through continuous improvement of practices, tooling, and delivery frameworks.
- Ensure teams are equipped to deliver measurable, high-quality outcomes for enterprise-level clients.
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, including at least 4+ years focused on Data & AI.
- Strong technical background in data architecture, machine learning, GenAI, MLOps, and cloud-based solutions.
- Proven success in building and leading high-performing technical teams in distributed and nearshore environments.
- Track record of working directly with enterprise clients, especially in North America, in consultative and strategic engagements.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Azure ML, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, etc.
- Fluent English (C1+).
