About You
You love data… because of how it impacts decisions, makes for better products, and ultimately changes lives. You enjoy leading data teams and enabling other teams to leverage data intelligently. You are proactive, collaborative, and communicative. You bring experience and insights relevant to a freemium subscription business (user acquisition, retention, monetization) and the foundational work around experimentation, reporting, and forecasting.

What you'll do
- Improve the understanding of how each product feature performs and provide actionable recommendations
- Manage a highly effective team of data analysts
- Establish best practices for experimentation, reporting, and insight generation
- Accurately measure, diagnose, and forecast our business
- Enable the rest of our company to self-serve insights through intuitive dashboards and AI integrations
- Partner closely with our Head of Data Engineering to ensure data validity and consistency
Preferred Skills
- 8+ years in data analytics / data science
- 5+ years in data leadership and people management
- Experience in consumer at scale with at least 10M Monthly Active Users (we’re around 50M and will grow a lot).
- Hands-on experience with modern dashboard and experimentation tools, even better if you helped with in-house development
- Strong collaboration and communication skills working in a fully distributed team
- Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and appreciation for the value of effective communication with both peers and non-technical teammates
- Puts value on building strong relationships with colleagues and partners
- Proven track record of being proactive, planning effectively, and constructively finding paths forward when blockers arise
