Head of Creative

About the Role
Axonius is seeking a passionate and motivated Head of Creative to lead the visual evolution of our brand. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall creative vision, design, and execution of all marketing and branding initiatives across a range of digital and print projects, ensuring alignment with our new brand identity and business objectives. You will be a lead creative designer and will manage a small team of internal and external creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling visual assets that communicate the Axonius story while maintaining the highest standards of creativity and design excellence. 

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Design & Leadership:
• Conceptualize and design a wide range of digital and print marketing materials, including social media graphics, website graphics, event assets, collateral, infographics, and more. 
• Oversee all creative projects, from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality execution across various channels.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive creative strategy that aligns with the company's marketing goals and brand identity.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in design and marketing.
• Champion creativity and innovation within the marketing team and the broader organization.

• Team Management:
• Manage and mentor a small team including an internal designer and freelance designers. 
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.
• Delegate tasks effectively, set clear expectations, and provide regular performance feedback.
• Brand Stewardship:
• Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, sales) to maintain brand consistency and integrity.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
• Develop and maintain priority for creative requests, project timelines, and resource allocation.

About You/Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in design and leading creative teams, including internal and external resources. Experience in technology, B2B, or cybersecurity is a plus.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of creative projects across digital, print, and branding, with a focus on delivering compelling and effective designs.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.
• Experience in developing and maintaining brand guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across multiple channels and platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate design concepts clearly and effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing business needs.
• Motion Graphics (Bonus): Experience with animation or motion graphics for digital campaigns is a plus.
