Job Summary
Absa Securities United Kingdom (ASUK) is seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to lead, manage and expand our Corporate & Investment Bank product offerings and services to organisations headquartered in the UK and the EU. The successful candidate will drive revenue maximisation opportunities and define and implement strategies to acquire, grow and maintain Pan-African client relationships in collaboration with local country counterparts.
Job Description
The role will require the incumbent to develop and execute the bank’s strategic objectives for UK and EU coverage, aligning with global initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and bank profitability and develop, foster and maintain strong relationships with key corporate, institutional and government clients. The Head of Coverage will also be required to lead and build a Client portfolio to self-direct and manage and ensure all banking activities comply with UK, EU and international regulatory requirements as well as lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of banking professionals.
The successful individual will be required to hold a Post-Graduate Degree in business or Finance with 18+ years’ Corporate & Investment Banking relationship management and have a proven track record in the acquisition of new clients across multiple sectors as well as experience of working in a matrix environment and leading a strong team.
