The Opportunity:
The Global Head of Corporate IT will oversee the management and optimization of all internal applications and IT services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of leading a diverse team and ensuring the efficient operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will embody a blend of the sage and everyman brand archetypes, bringing wisdom, reliability, and approachability to the role.
What you will do:
- Budgetary Responsibility:
- Manage and sign-off on application costs for all internally used software, including Microsoft licenses, Atlassian, Salesforce, and other applications.
- Ensure cost-effective use of applications and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Application Coordination:
- Collaborate with application owners and users to streamline processes and reduce costs where appropriate.
- Assist in the onboarding of new software, licenses, and products, ensuring smooth integration into existing systems.
- Business Applications Team Management:
- Lead the business applications team, overseeing projects such as Jira service desk consolidation and handling BAU tasks including Atlassian and Salesforce development requests.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Service Desk Support:
- Provide support to the service desk team, guiding projects and leading efforts to improve service desk operations.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Who you are:
- Proven experience in a senior IT management role, preferably within a global organization.
- Strong knowledge of IT applications and infrastructure, including Microsoft, Atlassian, and Salesforce.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision with day-to-day operational needs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
