Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive all CBS (Continuous Improvement/Lean) activities across the plant
  • Translate strategy into actionable plans and ensure execution
  • Identify improvement opportunities and lead projects (RIEs, problem-solving, lean initiatives)
  • Manage CBS budget, forecasts, and financial targets
  • Train, coach, and develop employees in CBS principles and lean culture
  • Monitor KPIs, track project performance, and ensure accurate reporting
  • Implement and maintain CBS standards; support continuous improvement of processes
  • Collaborate with plant leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and timelines
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Coordinate project phases and activities
  • Provide technical guidance and engineering expertise
  • Review designs, specifications, and drawings
  • Resolve technical issues during project execution
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Conduct meetings with clients and internal teams
  • Communicate project progress and updates
  • Prepare and manage project budgets
  • Track project costs and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Forecast resource requirements and expenses
  • Monitor project progress and performance
  • Prepare reports and maintain project documentation
  • Ensure adherence to timelines and milestones
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Implement quality assurance and control procedures
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth execution

Qualifications

University degree, preferably in business administration, engineering or related discipline 

5 or more years of professional experience in various CBS/lean functions

Cross functional experience e.g. in engineering, quality, purchasing or supply chain preferred
