Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Content to lead our large team of content creators. This role is pivotal in driving the efficient production of curriculum content at scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content production and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Content Development:
    • Develop and implement efficient strategies for large-scale curriculum content creation.
    • Identify and integrate appropriate technologies and products to enhance content development processes.
  • Technological Integration:
    • Evaluate and adopt innovative tools and platforms that facilitate effective content production.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies in education and content development.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a diverse team of authors, artists, editors, and other content producers.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes high performance and professional growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with product leadership teams to ensure content aligns with product goals and provides comprehensive coverage.
    • Work with content strategy teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with regional and national educational requirements.
  • Quality Assurance and Standards Alignment:
    • Oversee the editorial process to maintain excellence in content quality and relevance.
    • Ensure all curriculum content aligns with educational standards and best practices.


Essential Criteria:

  • Extensive experience in curriculum development or other content creation.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing large-scale content development projects.
  • Experience integrating technology into content development processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a large team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with content development tools and educational technologies.

Desired Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Communications, or a related field 
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to creating accessible and inclusive content.
