Job brief:
The Head of Consumer Operations and Strategic Planning will lead the coordination and orchestration of key functional groups and cross-functional activities that drive efficiency, performance, and profitability of The Weather Company’s core consumer business. The role will help develop and execute key strategic efforts and operational processes in conjunction with various functional leaders. The Head will also identify and evaluate KPIs and leverage data to help tell the Consumer product story to stakeholders - both internally and externally.
The impact you'll make:
- Align strategy and execution across all Consumer core functions such as Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Communications, and BD, to ensure key priorities are achieved.
- Develop, manage, and execute go-to-market programs in partnership with the aforementioned functions.
- Design, execute, and evaluate critical dependencies, opportunities, strategies, and implementation plans that will enhance all aspects of our operational approach.
- Help C suite identify and manage KPIs and associated data points that drive our success.
- Establish and communicate key milestones to stakeholders, including key targets.
- Work with product analytics and finance to continuously improve reporting based on evolving business needs and market dynamics
What you've accomplished:
- Bachelor of Business, Management, Analytics, or related field.
- 10+ years of related experience.
- Expertise with Digital Consumer Products while driving organizational alignment and business profitability.
- Strong Project Management skills with a focus on driving operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Experience with developing a data strategy to support Consumer Products and execution to derive insights that inform business decisions.
- Track record of nuanced and effective verbal and written communication across all levels of an organization
- Ability to partner and influence cross-functionally
- Team player with a dedicated work ethic and a passion for excellence
Base Salary: $175k - 250k
The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
