Are you our new Head of Compliance?
The Head of Compliance will establish and further develop a strong global compliance function that ensures Intrum's adherence to relevant regulations and internal policies while supporting the company’s strategic goals. The role also aims to harmonize compliance processes globally and strengthen the compliance culture within the organization.

What will you do:
You will drive change within the company by further developing and harmonizing compliance processes globally. It will also play a crucial role in strengthening the compliance culture and aligning compliance strategies with the company’s broader transformation.
- Lead and develop global compliance efforts, with a focus on areas such as:
- Internal governance, market conduct, customer protection, data protection, anti-corruption, sanctions management and anti-money laundering, regulatory licenses and internal regulations.
- Ensure that compliance risks are identified, assessed, monitored, managed, and reported.
- Develop and implement global compliance processes and tools that can be adapted to local regulations.
- Act as a strategic partner to the business, providing compliance-related support in business decisions.
- Actively participate in regulatory watch, lobbying and regulatory discussions to influence upcoming regulations.
- Train and support management and employees on compliance-related matters
What we’re looking for:
- Law degree or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience in compliance within regulated industries, preferably on an international level.
- Deep knowledge of regulations such as AML, Sanctions, GDPR, and AI Act, and experience working with customer protection, data protection, and anti-corruption.
- Experience in leading and developing compliance functions in a global or regional context.
- Experience in international compliance work and managing matrix organizations.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to act as a strategic partner to senior management.
- Transformational leadership experience, with a proven track record of leading global teams.
- Strategic and proactive mindset with the ability to navigate a matrix organization.
- Strong communication skills and experience in handling high-level stakeholders, including the Board of Directors.
Competencies:
- Solution-oriented, with the ability to balance business focus and compliance requirements.
- Transformational leadership that engages and develops employees.
It’s a plus if you bring:
- Experience from regulatory authorities such as the Financial Supervisory Authority or equivalent.
- Compliance experience within credit market companies.
