The Role
Legend is hiring a Head of Commercial Operations to lead the operational engine behind our Commercial function.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who can take commercial ambition and turn it into scalable, high-performing execution. You’ll own how we onboard and manage partners, optimise merchandising across our portfolio, execute commercial opportunities and build the systems, processes and ways of working that enable us to grow efficiently.
You’ll lead our Account Operations and Commercial Operations teams, creating greater structure, accountability and consistency while continuously looking for ways to make us faster and smarter through better data, automation and AI.
This is an opportunity to shape how Commercial Operations works at Legend, building an operation that can scale with the business while directly contributing to revenue growth.
Your Impact:
- Build a best-in-class partner onboarding engine: Own and improve the journey from commercial opportunity through onboarding to revenue, reducing friction, accelerating time-to-value and creating a consistent experience for our partners.
- Turn merchandising into a measurable growth lever: Lead the optimisation of placement, visibility and performance across our portfolio, using data, testing and commercial insight to identify opportunities to unlock incremental revenue.
- Create scalable Commercial Operations: Simplify and standardise processes across Account Operations and Commercial Operations, introducing clearer ownership, governance and ways of working that can support continued business growth.
- Use technology, automation and AI to make us better: Identify opportunities to remove manual work, improve workflows and strengthen decision-making through our commercial tooling, automation, AI and better use of data.
- Make commercial opportunities happen: Partner closely with Commercial, Marketing and other teams to turn ideas into well-executed launches, promotions and initiatives, ensuring operational readiness and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Build a high-performing team: Lead, develop and empower the Account Operations and Commercial Operations teams, creating clear accountability, strong performance standards and a culture focused on continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:
- Significant experience leading Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, Partner Operations or a similar function in a fast-paced, commercially driven business.
- A strong commercial mindset, you understand how operational decisions ultimately influence revenue, partner performance and customer experience, rather than viewing operations purely as process.
- Proven experience improving and scaling operational processes, with examples of taking complex or manual ways of working and making them simpler, faster and more effective.
- Strong experience using data, systems and commercial tooling to improve performance, with an interest in how automation and AI can transform operational workflows.
- The ability to operate strategically while remaining close enough to execution to make things happen, comfortable setting the direction, solving problems and driving delivery.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bring teams together, challenge constructively and create accountability across different functions.
The Interview Process:
- Initial conversation with our Talent Partner - 30 minutes via Zoom
- Hiring Manager Interview - 60-minute Zoom interview with the hiring manager, focused on your experience, leadership approach and how you’ve delivered impact in similar environments.
- Task & Presentation - A take-home task with time to prepare, followed by a 60-minute Zoom session where you’ll present your approach and discuss it with members of the team.
- Final Interview - 60-minute Zoom conversation with senior stakeholders, giving you the opportunity to meet more of the team and explore the role, business and opportunity in more depth.
