Job Description

This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in your local office at least 2 days a week.

As the UK’s largest fibre-only network, and its only proven wholesale challenger, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.

Designed from scratch for the internet, our network is greener, more reliable and ready for the future. The products we provide over it not only lead the market on speed, value and service, they help businesses to innovate, provide entire communities with a better foundation for their digital lives and support economic growth, locally and nationally.

What does that mean for you? The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for a lot of people!

Joining us as Head of Commercial Change

As Head of Commercial Change, you will shape and implement this newly created function in a growing team within a rapidly growing company. You will take control of centralising and communicating all commercial change externally – primarily to our ISP customers, ensuring that the customer organisations can effectively plan for, consume, manage and budget the changes in a timely fashion.

You’ll receive a competitive salary, a performance related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Create and operate a “Commercial Change” roadmap that ensures all internal stakeholders, and all key customers know which change is communicated in what timeframe to ensure predictability
  • Collate all commercial change impacting our 30+ ISP customers into a common process funnel within the organisation
  • You will be responsible for doing various business cases working with the Commercial Team and the Business Product Development & In-life head

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Experience in a commercial leadership role with an in-depth knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the telecommunications market
  • Experience successfully managing a marketing OpEx budget of over £15m per year. Leading, delivering and managing complex projects that deliver tangible and measurable business growth
  • Experience in leading and chairing weekly trading meetings and forecasting cycles. Integrating sales forecasts, installation capacity, and strategies to address sales gaps
  • Leadership skills that direct how the team analyse performance data and marketing penetration trends to identify trends, actionable opportunities and refine strategies
