Job Title: Head of Client Solutions

We specialize in bespoke risk transfer strategies, leveraging deep expertise across geographies and disciplines, including Structured Reinsurance, MGA, ILS, Legacy, Parametric, and Captives.  The role: 

 

We are building something new at Augment Risk. Client Solutions is not a traditional operations function – it’s a core part of how we deliver value to clients. 

 

The Head of Client Solutions will lead the build and evolution of this capability, ensuring our placement strategy translates into seamless execution, consistent advocacy, and measurable impact. 

 

Client Solutions is the delivery engine behind large, complex, and multi-year transactions – combining precision, speed, and creativity. The team ensures every client engagement, from onboarding through to claims, is delivered with discipline and transparency. 

 

This is a leadership role that blends executional excellence with strategic vision. The Head of Client Solutions will shape a high-performing team, embed scalable frameworks and technology, and ensure Augment grows at pace while keeping client outcomes at the centre. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Leadership and Strategy 

  • Build, inspire, and lead the Client Solutions team with a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability. 
  • Translate Augment’s client and capital strategies into scalable frameworks that drive consistent execution. 
  • Partner with leadership to shape how Client Solutions evolves as Augment scales globally. 
  • Champion innovation, technology application, and data-led decision making to continually improve the client experience. 

 

Execution and Delivery 

  • Ensure flawless support for broker-led transactions, including placements, renewals, and large-scale structured deals. 
  • Oversee onboarding, documentation, placement administration, premium flows, and claims with discipline and speed. 
  • Act as the escalation point for complex or technical client queries, ensuring swift and accurate resolution. 
  • Embed project management principles into every transaction to improve efficiency, transparency, and control. 

 

Client and Market Relationships 

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, reinsurers, and capital providers. 
  • Partner closely with broking and analytics teams to ensure seamless coordination across every stage of delivery. 
  • Represent Client Solutions externally, reinforcing Augment’s reputation for precision, creativity, and reliability. 

 

Operational Excellence and Innovation 

  • Drive best-in-class processes for data, reporting, and compliance. 
  • Create frameworks that make complex transactions repeatable, measurable, and scalable. 
  • Implement KPIs and service metrics to monitor performance and enable continuous improvement. 
  • Identify opportunities to automate and simplify workflows, working closely with technology and analytics teams to enhance client reporting and portfolio insights. 

 

Experience: 

  • Significant experience in client delivery, operations, or solutions management in (re)insurance. 
  • Proven track record leading teams through growth and change, with the ability to set vision and drive execution. 
  • Strong knowledge of treaty administration, claims, premiums, and financial reconciliation. 
  • Commercially astute, able to balance operational detail with strategic client advocacy. 
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where agility and accountability matter more than hierarchy. 
  • Experience in using CRMs, project management applications, and other advanced automation tools, including engaging with machine learning and AI capabilities to drive operational improvement and transformation where applicable
