PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
- Lead, manage and develop sustainable business partnerships with Petronas, Khazanah & GLICs in Malaysia
- Market and deliver an integrated suite of RHB Banking Group’s products to clients to maximize profitability and deliver on RHB Banking Group’s mandates
Lead and coordinate various product partners to achieve objective of the group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and Planning:
- Oversee the Petronas, Khazanah & GLICs portfolio structure, strategy, budget, performance and day-to-day management
- Formulate and implement strategies for sustainable growth in Petronas, Khazanah & GLICs segment market share
- Play an active management role in driving business strategy and developing Petronas, Khazanah & GLICs customer portfolio
- Provide advice and support to Managing Directors on Petronas, Khazanah & GLICs business landscape and opportunities
Business Performance:
- Generate revenue through originating corporate and investment banking mandates
- Work with Investment Banking division to execute the mandates for Petronas, Khazanah & GLICs Ensure delivery of superior service standards in assisting clients to raise equity/debt/corporate finance to meet their financial needs
- Responsible for servicing Malaysian clients regionally, if they have footprints beyond Malaysia
- Identify opportunities for improved offerings; track competitive environment to match and surpass offerings
- Monitor client financial performance and assess potential impact on RHB Banking Group and develop appropriate response
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop, manage and build long term relationships with key clients to promote customer retention
Act as the Group’s senior liaison officer to deliver on the mandates for Petronas, Khazanah & GLICs segments
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Comply with internal control policies/procedures and laws/regulatory directives issued by authorities
- Ensure proper adoption of risk management
