As Head of C&C Valve Maintenance, you will play a key leadership role within the HVDC Installation Department. Your mission is to ensure that our Valve and Valve Cooling maintenance and service activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project quality plans, specifications, and schedules. This is an office-based position in Ludvika, combined with regular international travel to project sites.
You will coordinate daily activities and plan resources to meet project timelines, resolve technical discrepancies, and monitor materials, equipment, and manpower to secure smooth execution. As a team leader, you will set goals for your team, provide guidance to Valve Field Maintenance Engineers and Valve Specialists, and ensure policies and procedures are understood and followed by all stakeholders. Your work will directly impact the success of global HVDC projects and contribute to a sustainable energy future.
Your responsibilities
- Provide global support for Valve and Valve Cooling systems within HVDC projects.
- Support commissioning activities for valves.
- Ensure maintenance and service processes meet safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
- Provide internal and external training for Valve and Valve Cooling maintenance.
- Collaborate with the Global Head of C&C Valve Installation and other stakeholders during tendering and project execution.
- Manage and support Valve Field Maintenance Engineers and Valve Specialists.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Your background
- Previous experience in leadership roles.
- Proven experience in maintenance and service of electrical or mechanical systems.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience from site work in large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
