About the Role

As a member of the Luxembourg Executive Leadership Team, the Head of Business Operations plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operation and regulatory standing of Waystone Management Company (Lux) S.A.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership position provides independent oversight and coordination across the Luxembourg business, helping to ensure that operational delivery, governance standards and strategic initiatives are executed effectively in a complex and evolving environment. The role acts as a key partner to the CEO and Conducting Officers, driving accountability, operational excellence and continuous improvement across the organisation.

This is a highly visible position offering significant exposure to executive, board and regulatory stakeholders and the opportunity to shape the future evolution of one of Luxembourg's leading third-party management companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Member of the Luxembourg Executive Leadership Team.
  • Support to the CEO in driving strategic priorities and organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead a team of senior professionals, including oversight of Conducting Officers.
  • Act as a key contributor to executive decision-making, governance forums and strategic initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, disciplined execution and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the effectiveness and performance of the Luxembourg operating model across internal, outsourced and group-supported functions.
  • Ensure operational performance meets regulatory expectations, internal standards and client commitments.
  • Drive service governance, operational performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strengthen and continuously enhance the governance and control framework of the Luxembourg Management Company.
  • Lead operational and governance remediation programmes resulting from audits, regulatory reviews and internal assessments.
  • Ensure high-quality management, governance reporting and escalation processes.
  • Support the delivery of strategic business initiatives and organisational change programmes.
  • Assess operational readiness for business and regulatory change.
  • Drive cross-functional execution and ensure delivery against key priorities.
  • Escalate material risks, dependencies and delivery challenges with pragmatic recommendations and solutions.

Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate is likely to bring:

  • 12+ years of experience within regulated financial services.
  • Significant experience within a Luxembourg Management Company, AIFM, UCITS Management Company.
  • Proven leadership experience managing senior professionals and influencing executive stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Luxembourg regulatory requirements, governance frameworks and supervisory expectations.
  • Experience overseeing outsourced, delegated and international operating models.
  • Demonstrated success in regulatory interactions, inspections, audits and remediation programmes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including Board-level engagement.
