Founded in Hong Kong in 2016 by the French couple Delphine Lefay and Diego Dultzin Lacoste, OnTheList is a leading premium flash sales concept in Asia and the Middle-EastOnTheList works to minimize the problem of excess stock by turning past-season inventory into sustainable opportunities. OnTheList works directly with retail brands and official distributors, turning old inventory into opportunity by providing a sustainable way for brands to sell past-season items that would have otherwise ended up in landfills, while providing the best deals and steep discounts to our OnTheList members. Since launching in Hong Kong in 2016, OnTheList has hosted over 5,200 flash sales and has built a community of over 1.3 million members across all regions. We’ve since expanded to Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Korea, Shanghai, Beijing, Thailand, and Dubai. 

 

Sustainability is rooted in who we are and motivates us to continue our mission. To date, we have saved over 8.2 million items from ending up in landfills. Forming OnTheLove, our CSR initiative, has allowed us to deepen our commitment to minimizing our carbon footprint while working with local organizations and hosting regular charity sales.

OnTheList started very successfully in Dubai in 2024, Now, it's time to launch in Saudi! You will report to the GM based in Dubai and you will be responsible to the first exciting development of this new market. 

 

WHAT WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH 

 

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with fashion, luxury, and lifestyle brands to achieve sales and volume targets in Korea market. 
  • Lead a team of Business Development and Account Planning professionals to drive sales, build brand partnerships, and achieve sales target. 
  • Conduct in-depth market research to qualify developing business opportunities and assesses the viability of potential future proposals, business partnerships and/or project opportunities. 
  • Leverage industry contacts for strategic intelligence and build a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities to drive business growth. 
  • Develop and execute comprehensive, data-driven business plans for weekly events for both channels, offline and online including review stock list to optimize sales and P&N analysis 
  • Expand OTL brand exposure by represent OTL mission which is to Turn Inventory to Opportunity and notoriety by building strong and long-term relationships with brand partners 
  • Serve as the main point of contact for brands inquiries, needs, and requests. Proactively follow up with brands to provide necessary information and updates. 
  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, ecommerce, etc to ensure seamless event execution. 
  • Ensure effective communication between various departments and clients to meet project requirements. 
  • Analyse sales data and prepare comprehensive sales recaps that include event outcome, feedback, recommendation etc to improve for future collaboration.  

 

WHAT IT TAKES 

  • 10+ years of proven experience in Business Development or Key Account Management, preferably in fashion, luxury goods, or cosmetics (multi-brand experience is a strong advantage). 
  • Deep knowledge of the retail industry, with an existing network of contacts among brands, distributors, or retailers in fashion/luxury. 
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and negotiating successful partnerships. 
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Highly target-driven, data-oriented, and comfortable working with P&L and sales analytics. 
  • Strategic thinker and enthusiastic problem-solver who is autonomous and proactive. 
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a collaborative teamwork mindset. 
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) for business planning and reporting. 
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Korean
