About the Role

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, and experienced sales and business development professional to develop iCapital’s enterprise presence in the Family Office channel. The leader of this team will develop and manage relationships across the Family Office landscape and will be instrumental in growing and expanding the company’s presence and client base. This individual will drive new business initiatives and lead the development of our GTM strategy. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, prospecting new relationships, crafting compelling pitch decks, developing market analysis and strategy, engaging with potential clients through various channels, negotiating contracts, and leading implementation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Drive enterprise adoption of our technology platform and infrastructure.
  • Promote a consultative approach to deepen and expand current relationships and source new relationships across the iCapital platform of offerings.
  • Centralize client coverage efforts and ensure team alignment to support client needs.
  • Educate clients on the depth of the technology’s capabilities and drive new mandates and business activities.
  • Create and deliver executive presentations and report on key initiatives and business activity.
  • Communicate feedback from clients and prospects to the organization to improve delivery of solutions and improve the overall client experience.
  • Conduct platform and system demonstrations for new prospects, manage responses to RFPs, and collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams on client launches and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other relationship managers and senior executives across the company to drive tactical and strategic initiatives regarding sales strategy and business development, CRM technology, and marketing.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a business development/relationship management related role
  • 10+ years of experience working within financial services or financial technology industry
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a complex and varied product set and/or a technology product offering to Enterprise clients
  • Robust knowledge and experience with alternative investments, specifically the Family Office space.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships with key decision makers
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrated ability in organizing client coverage across product lines and client channels, achieving depth of penetration and consolidated support models
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic mindset and able to work independently
  • Demonstrated client service skills with key stakeholders and clients
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $275,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
