About this opportunity:
We at Ericsson are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Business Dev and Sales EAS Market Area North East Asia (MNEA) to accelerate the growth of Ericsson Antenna System (EAS) business across Japan, Korea, Taiwan.
This role is created to focus resources on critical markets, strengthen EAS go-to-market execution, and generate tangible net sales growth.
The position sits within the BNEW EA RG MOAI MNEA team, a regional team of seven professionals dedicated to EAS business success across Market Area Southeast Asia, Oceania & India (MOAI) and MNEA. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and executing EAS strategy, driving demand creation, and positioning Ericsson as a trusted antenna partner with key customers in the region.
What you will do:
  • Drive EAS net sales growth across Japan, Korea, and Taiwan by executing regional and country-level EAS strategies.
  • Engage directly with key customers to influence antenna-related requirements, demand creation, and technology choices.
  • Position Ericsson Antenna System as a preferred solution by acting as a trusted advisor on passive antenna technology.
  • Translate customer needs and market demands into concrete EAS opportunities, progressing them from lead to deal.
  • Build and execute a regional EAS go-to-market strategy aligned with Ericsson commercial processes and value propositions.
  • Collaborate closely with KAMs, CUs, and internal stakeholders to support large and strategic customer engagements.
  • Identify local market trends, competitive dynamics, and future business opportunities, proactively shaping new portfolio ideas with clear business case justification.
  • Manage and influence senior customer stakeholders, including C-level executives, to strengthen Ericsson's antenna footprint.

The skills you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or Business Management.
  • 15+ years of experience in the telecom communications industry.
  • Fluent Japanese and English.
  • Strong technical understanding of passive antenna technologies and radio/antenna solutions.
  • Proven experience in challenging sales, technical sales, and business development ("hunter" mindset).
  • Demonstrated ability in strategy setting and execution within complex, multi-market environments.
  • Experience working for global radio or antenna vendors; overseas working experience is preferred.
  • Track record of managing large accounts and influencing senior customer decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial acumen, opportunity management, and deal-closing capability.
  • Ability to build credibility quickly with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution and situational agility.
