Head of Brand MarketingGrow Groq’s Brand and Industry Presence

Mission: 

Groq is redefining AI inference with our groundbreaking LPU, making AI faster, more efficient, and more accessible than ever before. We are seeking a Brand Marketing Lead to drive high-impact brand campaigns, strategic partnerships, and event marketing initiatives that increase awareness, credibility, and engagement for Groq.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and executing brand initiatives that strengthen Groq’s presence across AI communities, developers, and enterprise decision-makers. You will work cross-functionally with Communications, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, and Developer Relations to create moments that reinforce Groq’s leadership and differentiation.

This is a unique opportunity to lead Groq’s brand strategy through storytelling, collaborations, and immersive experiences while working alongside some of the brightest minds in AI hardware and software.

Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:

  • Develop & Execute Brand Campaigns → Lead multi-channel brand initiatives that reinforce Groq’s market position and thought leadership.
  • Own Strategic Partnerships → Identify, negotiate, and activate co-marketing, sponsorships, and collaborations that expand Groq’s brand reach.
  • Oversee High-Impact Events → Lead Groq’s brand presence at AI industry conferences, summits, and activations.
  • Align Brand Initiatives with Business Goals → Ensure campaigns, partnerships, and events drive measurable brand impact while supporting sales and developer adoption.
  • Collaborate Across Teams → Work with Creative, Communications, Product Marketing, and Growth Marketing to develop compelling content and experiences.
  • Measure & Optimize → Track brand lift, engagement, and ROI from key initiatives, continuously improving strategy.

Ideal candidates have/are:

  • 8+ years of experience in brand marketing, partnerships, and event strategy.
  • A proven track record of leading successful brand campaigns in AI, deep tech, or high-growth startups.
  • Deep experience in managing strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and event activations.
  • Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, AI/ML communities, and enterprise technology branding.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Growth, Creative, Communications, and Sales.
  • A passion for creating standout brand moments that drive awareness and engagement.

What Success Looks LikeFirst 90 Days:

  • Develop a brand marketing roadmap aligning campaigns, partnerships, and events with Groq’s strategic goals.
  • Identify key partnership and sponsorship opportunities to enhance Groq’s market visibility.
  • Align with Communications and Product Marketing to ensure consistent messaging across all brand activations.

By Month 6:

  • Successfully execute at least one high-impact brand campaign that drives measurable awareness.
  • Secure strategic partnerships that increase Groq’s brand influence.
  • Establish a repeatable model for event marketing that maximizes brand presence.

By Month 12:

  • Scale Groq’s brand marketing efforts globally.
  • Lead major AI industry partnerships, sponsorships, and conferences that solidify Groq’s category leadership.
  • Ensure Groq is recognized as a top AI brand in both developer and enterprise spaces.

Compensation: At Groq, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is $222,000 to $244,000 determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.
