The EMEA Subsidiary Payments Sales team is accountable for business outcomes across the Benelux franchise, including origination, retention, wallet expansion, and disciplined risk management.

As the Head of BeNeLux Subsidiary Payments Sales within the EMEA Subsidiary Payments Sales team, you will set the local payments sales strategy, lead and develop a high-performing sales team, and promote sustained revenue growth across an inbound and prospect portfolio of Large & Mid Corporate clients headquartered across North America, Asia & Latin America.

 You will own senior client engagement, pipeline governance, and the overall end-to-end client experience, partnering closely with Global Corporate Banking, Subsidiary Banking, and Payments Product to deliver integrated treasury and payments solutions.

As a senior leader within Payments Corporate Sales, you will be accountable for business outcomes across the Benelux franchise, including origination, retention, wallet expansion, and disciplined risk management. You will act as a key voice of the client internally to shape product priorities and ensure a consistent, best-in-class client experience across onboarding and ongoing client service.

Job responsibilities

  • Own the BeNeLux payments sales strategy, business plan, and execution across existing and new clients within the Subsidiary Payments Sales vertical.
  • Drive revenue growth through client acquisition, wallet share expansion, and retention, with clear accountability for pipeline health, conversion, and performance vs. targets.
  • Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline, ensuring disciplined prioritization, high-quality deal structuring, and pricing rigor across the team.
  • Act as senior executive sponsor for priority relationships, deepening engagement with Regional Treasurers and HQ stakeholders.
  • Deliver consultative, client-led solutioning across the JPMorganChase Payments suite (cash management, trade & working capital, liquidity, TSFX, commercial card, and merchant acquiring).
  • Maintain deep knowledge of client operating models, buying processes, regional nuances, and strategic objectives to position JPMorganChase capabilities effectively.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Benelux Payments Sales team, setting clear expectations on coverage models, sales disciplines, and client activity standards.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Ensure consistent execution of best practices across client planning, opportunity qualification, proposal development, and client engagement.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Global Corporate Banking, Subsidiary Banking, Client Service, Implementations, Operations, Technology, Risk, Credit, Legal) to optimize delivery, bring the client voice into solution design/product evolution, and oversee strategic initiatives and large-scale client programs with strong governance.
  • Maintain strong market and competitor awareness to sharpen positioning, represent the Benelux franchise internally, contribute to broader EMEA priorities, and ensure sales activity adheres to risk, controls, compliance, and AML/KYC requirements (including for higher-risk clients/industries).

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Able to demonstrate extensive experience in financial services sales and client coverage with a track record in payments / transaction banking / cash management & leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams, building high-performance cultures, and delivering results through others.
  • Proven ability to originate, negotiate, and execute complex, multi-product solutions and large-scale client initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including transaction banking, merchant acquiring, and working capital; able to position solutions against competitive alternatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build durable partnerships across Sales, Product, Client Service, Implementations, Global Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, and other lines of business.
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills; able to influence at senior levels internally and externally.
  • English required
