About the role

We are looking for an experienced communication professional to lead a team of our Baltic internal and external communication experts and to take a good care of our external communication in Lithuania. You will have a key role in developing and implementing Baltic communication strategy together with a team of professionals in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

You will be responsible for

• Developing and implementing Baltic communication strategy (including social media strategy) in line with If’s business and brand goals.
• Planning and controlling Baltic communication budget in line with the strategy and goals.
• Leading hands-on external communications in Lithuania (press releases, answers to media inquiries, cooperation with mass media, media monitoring).
• Taking care of sponsorship and donation project management.
• Advising management and other colleagues on communication topics.
• Cooperating with HR and other stakeholders for a successful internal and external employer branding communication development.
• Leading a team of 5 communication professionals in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

What do we expect from you?

• Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies that effectively reach and engage target audiences, helping to achieve business and brand goals.
• Proven experience in communication management, preferably within a Baltic-focused or multinational context.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse market trends, audience insights, and competitor activities – to adjust and update communication tactics to reach high SOV and visibility in our strategic communication topics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively; experience in leading Baltic or other international teams would be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their strategic use in communication campaigns.
• Experience in crisis communication management and the ability to handle sensitive issues effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Degree in Communication, Marketing management, or Social sciences.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in Lithuanian, fluency in English.
