Maintains and develops upon high-yield, large, high-risk accounts and relationships and a high-volume book of business to maintain and exceed sales targets and expectations and is accountable for the sales performance of a dense industry specialty or large region and ensuing large team of direct reports.

Develops the account expansion strategy for the relevant industry or region and directs market research, event coordination, and resource allocation accordingly.

Determines standards for account prioritization and opportunity prioritization for the team's book of business in accordance with cross-functional leaders' insights and objectives, the internal business strategy, account standing and other external factors.

Controls resources and ensures the most strategic account ownership strategy, personally taking on high-risk, high-yield accounts and assigning accounts to advanced sales professionals as appropriate.

Directs and oversees the execution of the marketing strategy for the industry and/or region to best and appropriately position the firm and the solution and product offerings in the market and to enable the desired growth.

Determines objectives for and advises on the development of custom solutions for major accounts and ensures optimal pricing for account scope and yield expectations.

Accountable for the retention of all personal and team accounts, monitors account relationships to ensure satisfaction, handles escalated issues or high-risk accounts and works to ensure a positive market perception.

Develops the team strategy surrounding target metrics, goals and objectives for the industry or region and oversees performance monitoring processes for sales, retention, and professional performance expectations.

Manages the human capital strategy and conducts performance appraisals, makes compensation decisions and oversees resource allocation.

Accountable for talent acquisition, sourcing and recruiting the best talent for the team.

Viewed as an industry leaders, attends, organizes and participates in industry events and conferences and belongs to relevant professional societies to maintain and expand a broad and powerful professional network.

Skills Required

  • Proven track record managing large, high-risk, high-yield accounts and leading large sales teams.
  • Appropriate approval to work in Australia (must be authorized to work).
  • Successful completion of Criminal and Bankruptcy check prior to commencing employment.
  • Hybrid work availability — able to be in local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week.
