How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice:    

Paula’s Choice is a leading skincare brand on Amazon, consistently highly ranked in competitive categories including best sellers in beauty & personal care. Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Amazon North America and Australia New Zealand will be responsible for leading revenue responsibilities for a significant portion of our largest region. You will inform and implement multi-year growth plans, own the P&L, paid media strategy and champion continuous improvements in this highly competitive channel. You will have a proven track record of nurturing talent and guiding team members to reach their full potential.

As Head of Amazon, North America & ANZ, you will be responsible for:  

  • Balancing execution with innovation, this role will inform and implement multi-year strategic plans, tied to the company’s financial strategies.  
  • Accountable for the P&L. You will set, drive and track relevant targets, including overall performance, revenue, gross margin, and cost savings opportunities.   
  • Building capabilities and executing full funnel media and marketing strategy. Working closely with agencies and internal teams (DTC Acquisition, Influencer leads).   
  • Help to inform the content and merchandising strategy and continue to support our culture of always-on testing.   
  • Strong cross-functional relationship management and the ability to understand and prioritize multiple business challenges/opportunities at a time. 
  • Instrumental in talent development of your team, enhancing job satisfaction and fostering a culture of mutual respect.   
  • Work closely with shared services teams (including Operations, Supply Chain Finance, Data, PR, Consumer Experience, among others) to ensure commercial success and evaluate new and exciting ideas that will move the needle.  
  • Work closely with their regional marketplace peers (Asia and EMEA) to implement and share standard methodologies for continued scaled growth, adept at engaging in informed high-level strategic discussions as well as understanding how to complement/leverage processes for tactical execution.   
  • Work closely with Unilever Prestige Amazon team and eCommerce leads to share insights, opportunities and best in class strategies  
  • Capture and incorporate real-time regional customer trends, data, and insights into the Americas ecommerce decision-making.  
  • Anticipating future consumer trends and use market developments to trial and test new  concepts and technologies, incorporating findings to evolve the path forward.  
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by your manage

The Details:

  • Location: Seattle Preferred  - Open to Consider Remote Candidates.
  • Hours: Typical Business Hours, some flexibility
  • Physical requirements: Ability to handle both sitting and screen time for long periods of time 
  • Travel requirements: Up to 15%

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • A business builder with a track record of growth comfortable with hitting daily, weekly, annual revenue and KPIs   
  • Experience owning a P&L with revenue accountability for an Amazon business with over $75MM annual revenue  
  • +10 years of Amazon experience for a fast-paced consumer brand  
  • +5 years managing paid media and full funnel Amazon strategy and agency partners   
  • Strategic mindset: Ability to develop a vision and identify big ideas, and then empower the teams to put into action 
  • Commercial mindset, from identifying size of prize to big opportunities and initiatives, developing a solid budget, plus formulating strategies and plans to achieve and exceed forecasts  
  • Winning mindset: A big goal does not scare you! You have led teams through uncharted waters.   
  • Track record in leading digital marketing performance outpacing market growth and capabilities through leading-edge strategies, capabilities, and tools.  
  • Track record in ability to harness the expertise and skillset of your team  
  • Experience in working with agencies  

What can help you really stand out:  

  • Amazon experience in the beauty segment  
  • Experience as a 3P seller and Amazon Premium Beauty seller  
  • Experience working in an omnichannel company (DTC, Amazon, Wholesale)  
  • Experience managing more than one country.   
  • Managing a commercial business above $100M in annual revenue   

Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:

$220,000- $275,000 USD/annually

We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
