Head of AI/ML Solutions Enablement- Executive Director, APAC Chief Data & Analytics Office
The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is pivotal in advancing the firm's data and analytics capabilities, ensuring strong adherence to data & AI risk & control while enabling the data & analytics strategy for superior decision-making and business outcomes to serve our clients and markets. By leveraging data & AI/ML, the CDAO develops innovative solutions to support commercial goals, enhance productivity, and manage risks. The Asia Pacific Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) advances the firm's data and analytics strategy, platforms, solutions, capabilities, and governance to deliver trustworthy, responsible, innovative, and commercially value outcomes across the APAC markets and businesses.
The Head of AI/ML Solutions Enablement, APAC is a critical role that is responsible for enabling the awareness, adoption, and value realization of the firm's AI solutions and capabilities across the region that is aligned with overall business objectives and priorities. The individual will closely work with regional business and AI champions and with the global teams to create, curate high value use-cases and capabilities and its application, and drive awareness, engagement, and literacy across the business and functions. Working closely with global and regional stakeholders-including technology, business, and functions teams- the critical role is also responsible for understanding the business opportunities and translating business requirements into robust technical execution to support its development and value realization. A critical focus will be establishing and nurturing common capabilities, best practices, and reusable frameworks to ensure consistency and excellence across business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business and technology leaders to identify, scope, and scale high-impact AI opportunities
- Manage and champion the adoption of AI/ML capabilities within strategic business initiatives, ensuring measurable business value
- Work closely with management and business teams to deeply understand business challenges, opportunity areas, and desired outcomes. Translate these requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and delivery plans for the AI/ML capabilities development team
- Driving value and alignment by identifying and prioritizing problems that AI translation can solve effectively, quantify potential value, and ensure AI-driven translation solution is aligned with strategic goals and solves the identified business problem.
- Drive the operationalization of AI/ML capabilities across business units, collaborating with senior leadership and AI champions to identify opportunities for transformation and improvement.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical execution, curating and contextualizing Data and AI solutions for enterprise needs and explaining complex AI outputs in terms of business value
- Promote AI literacy and continuous learning across technical and non-technical teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and build a strong community around Data and AI solutions within the organization.
- Maintain deep awareness of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in AI/ML and statistics.
- Represent the organization in technical forums, conferences, and collaborative industry initiatives.
- Scan the market for emerging AI/ML trends and solutions, assess their potential, and lead experimentation and adoption efforts to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
- Formal training or certification on experience in AI/ML solution development, delivery, and technical leadership within financial services and 15+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong u nderstanding on core AI, machine learning (ML), and natural language processing (NLP) concepts to grasp capabilities and limitations.
- Experience working in data strategy & analysis, from collection and cleaning to analysis and interpretation, ensuring data quality and making data-driven decisions.
- Strong technical knowledge (e.g., programming basics, AI frameworks) to communicate effectively with technical teams and understand implementation requirements.
- Proven track record in enabling delivery of impactful AI/ML solutions through technical leadership and cross-team facilitation.
- Business acumen, problem solving, and critical thinking and proven ability to frame complex business problems in a way that AI can solve, and to critically evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and applicability.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to measure the impact and ROI of AI solutions through relevant metrics and key performance indicators
- Strong stakeholder management, change management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Crucial ability to convert complex technical AI concepts into clear, non-technical business language for stakeholders, and vice versa.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in building or customizing AI/ML tools and workflows.
- Familiarity with ethical AI/ML practices and governance frameworks.
- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in APAC.
- Prior experience working with or managing globally distributed technical teams.
