Role: Head of Accounts
We are seeking a mature. energetic, proactive individual to join the Beta Loaf team to support manage the Accounting function at their Matuu town location. This role is fully onsite, as such, potential candidates must be willing to relocate to Matuu town.
Location: Matuu Town off Thika-Garissa Highway
Duties & Responsibilities
Timely preparation of monthly financial statements
Maintaining supplier’s records (accounts payables)
Posting of cash expenses in the system (petty cash)
Managing accounts receivable
Managing preparation of production reports
Ensures management and accuracy Stock controls
Ensures tax and statutory compliance and remittance of necessary payments
Ensures production and sales control records are accurate
Preparation of monthly costing and expense reports
Ensures accurate daily sales reconciliation
Manages cash sales posting
Manages and supervises all cashier and accountants
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in finance/accounting/ economics or related field
CPA 6 qualification
Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting with at least 5 years in the FMCG space
Experience managing a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Mature and professional attitude
Excellent organizational and time management
Ability to multitask with obsessive attention to detail
Skills Required
