Job Description

• Own the Dutch accounting process and oversee compliance of Dutch entities
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with Dutch GAAP
• Manage external audit(s) and lead the preparation of annual statutory financial statements (Dutch GAAP) for Dutch entities
• Drive continuous improvements of accounting processes and actively participate in the global finance transformation process
• Leading and managing projects, such as the implementation of new business procedures and processes, from a finance perspective
• Handle tax matters such as VAT
• Perform monthly financial analysis, including P&L and BS key items review
• Lead a team of 1-2 people

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting knowledge and a degree within Finance or Accounting
• At least 5 years of working experience
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting processes in a Dutch environment
• Structured way of working with a ‘hands-on’ mentality and high motivation to get things done
• Fluency in Dutch and English is essential
