This role serves as the focal point for field changes across the full HDNU Project Portfolio, including gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, HRSGs, controls & accessories, and related MSD equipment. This leader will own and drive wing-to-wing fulfillment of site change implementation, guaranteeing commercial viability, technical integrity, and timeliness of all associated scope of work. Through directly leading a talented group of individuals focused on issue resolution and productivity; while closely working with functions and site teams, this leader will systematically minimize risk and drive productivity across ongoing projects.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a group of project managers supporting cross-functional teams in planning and executing field modifications (via ECN/FI, FSI, TILs).
- Define and operationalize standard work processes for risk management, cost optimization, and execution of onsite field modifications and fleet solutions during pre-COD phase.
- Establish and maintain a continuous improvement framework for NCR cost management processes related to onsite remedial activities.
- Own and manage business KPIs through rigorous daily management and process discipline.
- Serve as the central point for triaging fleet and site issues, coordinating timely resolution with Fleet Programs team and cross-functional (OFS, Parts, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Repair, Engineering Services, Design Engineering, Logistics) leadership teams (e.g., War Room meetings).
- Oversee management of the ECN/FI Planned Demand value stream to proactively mitigate safety and quality risks while meeting productivity and cost targets.
- Evaluate and validate proposed issue resolutions from Engineering and Suppliers to ensure alignment with customer commitments.
- Support and partner with the GSIM Fleet Program team to track business-critical program progress and costs.
- Lead internal communications on site issue status, providing clear updates to all organizational levels.
- Collaborate with Product Service & Design Engineering, SQE, Product Safety and other functions to identify emerging risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Build strong partnerships with GVH Gas Power functional leaders to eliminate process gaps and drive cross-functional productivity.
- Assess business, financial, competitive, and commercial risks, and influence stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of technical solutions.
- Leverage BI tools to integrate data analytics into daily management and performance tracking.
- Lead and/or participate in Lean Action Workouts and Kaizen projects to enhance processes and promote continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence cross-functionally at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills under pressure
- Proven ability to prepare and deliver executive-level briefings
Desired Characteristics
- Project / Program Management experience
- Field Engineering experience with gas/steam turbines, generators, or other heavy-duty power generation equipment

The base pay range for this position is $132,000 to $176,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on Monday, November 3rd.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
