Within our organization, data helps us make better decisions and monitor progress towards our goals. Monitoring this progress is about much more than just numbers. It starts with defining the right KPIs, identifying reliable data sources, and translating insights into meaningful information for stakeholders. As an intern, you will explore how we can make performance measurement smarter, more scalable, and future-proof. The end goal is a framework that can be used in the future to tackle KPI challenges better and more effectively.
What you are going to do
During this internship, you will play a key role in shaping how KPI reporting is approached within our organization. You will develop a practical framework that helps us handle KPI requests in a more structured, efficient, and future-proof way. You will not only help design the framework but also put it into practice by working on a real business case. As part of your internship, you will be:
- Exploring best practices in KPI management, researching how organizations approach KPI design and reporting, how NN currently addresses KPI challenges, and what academic research recommends
- Creating a KPI framework that can be applied across the organization to improve consistency and efficiency
- Apply the framework in a real-world use case, helping to solve an actual business challenge while continuously refining and improving the framework
- Gaining practical experience with Power BI using data and visualizations to transform business requirements into meaningful insights
- Producing a thesis transcript that describes your findings and provides recommendations for further improving our KPI capability
