Position- Robotics Engineer
Focus: Perception, calibration, targeting, path planning, manipulation
What you’ll do:-• Own laser targeting pipeline end-to-end (perception → planning → actuation)
• Build robust path planning for uneven and rugged terrain
• Work on depth camera perception (RGB-D, stereo, NIR, etc.)
• Develop calibration pipelines (camera ↔ robot ↔ laser ↔ ground plane)
• Implement plant/weed detection → targeting → execution
• Work on manipulation & motion planning
• Improve targeting accuracy under vibration, uneven terrain, motion blur, lighting variation
• Build ROS2 nodes for perception & planning
• Optimize for real-time performance on onboard compute
• Work closely with embedded + mechanical teams Requirements:• 2+ years in robotics / autonomy / perception
• Strong C++ and Python
• Strong ROS2
• Very strong Linux
• Experience with depth cameras / 3D perception
• Experience with path planning / motion planning
• Understanding of robot calibration
• Comfortable working with embedded systems
