Under general supervision, assists in the planning and execution of product R&D projects while adhering to budget, scope and schedule requirements. Helps ensure consistent practices throughout all phases of the project life cycle. Prepares technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses. Executes high quality, integrated cross-functional plans for projects. Applies best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of projects. Interacts with research and development, marketing, manufacturing and regulatory departments.

We are looking for a Project Manager - Single-Use Systems to join our team in Hillegom. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of custom Single-Use Hardware Systems, guiding projects from contract signing through engineering, manufacturing, installation, and final handover to the customer.

What You'll Be Doing

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of customer projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing projects from contract award through installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Leading engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and implementation activities.
• Proactively managing project risks and scope changes to maximize project success.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Developing project plans, schedules, progress reports, and presentations.
• Coordinating internal stakeholders across R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams.
• Managing suppliers and subcontractors, including purchase orders and follow-up activities.
• Working closely with co-design partners and external contractors to ensure successful delivery.
• Leading critical project milestones including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), IQ/OQ activities, and final customer approval.
• Ensuring timely delivery of all required project documentation.
• Coaching and motivating project team members while promoting accountability and collaboration.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.

What We're Looking For

You are an organized and proactive project leader who enjoys balancing technical detail with customer engagement.

Ideally, you have:

• Experience managing technical, engineering, manufacturing, or life sciences projects.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience working with customers, suppliers, and external contractors.
• A structured and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• The ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
• Experience in regulated industries, bioprocessing, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or single-use technologies is highly advantageous.
• Strong English communication skills; Dutch is beneficial.
