Hardware SupervisorJob Summary:The Hardware Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the stocking crew. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to hiring and recruiting new employee as well as coach and develop existing employees to build a bench for future growth and promote the company as an employer of choice. The Supervisor must work closely with all management teams throughout they yard to identify areas of opportunities with inventory levels, processes and hospitality to support the overall success of the yard
Duties/Responsibilities:

- Conduct daily walks and communicate a game plan for the hardware team that upholds maintenance and in-stock expectations.
- Consistently support Store Manager in observing the hardware team and help deliver real time feedback on ways to improve hospitality.
- Work with Store Manage and Vendors to help the hardware team establish and maintain a backup source for high-demand items and help establish the right inventory levels to support customer need.
- Develop and maintain healthy working relationships with his/her staff, vendors, co-workers and other department employees.
- Operates equipment when necessary.
- Work with Store Manager to ensure Product Directory, Cycle Count and all company initiative commitments are achieved.
- Help create promotional signage and updates digital monitors if applicable.

- Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.
- Extremely organized and forward thinking.
- Ability to develop and sustain professional relationships.
- Ability to perform math calculations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of related experience
- Proficient with computer technology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must meet physical requirements, lifting required
- Must be detail oriented
- Experience with computerized inventory systems required
- Forklift/Lift Equipment/Pallet Jack required.
- Requires periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
- Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
Skills Required

- 1-2 years of related experience
