Job Description

As a Hardware Engineer at Motorola Norway you are involved in all aspects of design, prototyping, test and manufacturing of our products.

The position involves:

  • Designing, reviewing and updating all aspects of the electronics in our products 

  • Being part of our core hardware team working closely with all other disciplines

  • Collaboration with manufacturing and sub-suppliers

  • Hardware testing, troubleshooting and qualification

  • Examining and experimenting with use cases, test setups and new technologies


Together with our video security department, you will get the opportunity to shape our security solution.


Basic Requirements

You are not expected to have all of the following skills, but they will be useful in performing your job.

We are looking for someone who is: 

  • Passionate about technology and hardware product development

  • Enjoys building, tinkering and working with their hands

  • Has good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Is enthusiastic, flexible and with a desire to learn

  • Like to take things apart in order to understand how they work

  • Is proficient in English

It is also considered a bonus if you:

  • Understand schematic design and CAD PCB layout.

  • Interested in scripting and low-level programming.

  • Have experience with cameras or sensors.
