Revelyst Golf Technology brings together some of the most trusted names in golf innovation — Foresight Sports, Bushnell Golf, GolfLogix, and PinSeeker — under one platform dedicated to helping golfers play smarter and improve faster. Our teams design and build the launch monitors, rangefinders, sensors, and connected software that golfers and coaches rely on at every level of the game, from the driving range to the PGA Tour.
We are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineering Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of hardware development programs across our golf technology portfolio, including launch monitors, rangefinders, and wearables. You'll own the program schedule and cross-functional coordination from concept through mass production, driving hardware, firmware, mechanical, and industrial design teams — along with contract manufacturers and component suppliers — through each stage gate (EVT, DVT, PVT, and MP) on time, on budget, and at the quality bar our brands are known for.
The Hardware Engineering Project Manager is a highly cross-functional, execution-focused role responsible for driving hardware programs from concept through production. This position is ideal for someone who has successfully led hardware development programs end-to-end, is comfortable managing detailed build plans, schedules, and bring-up issue lists, and can effectively communicate program status, risks, and tradeoffs to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Working in close day-to-day partnership with Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Firmware/Embedded Software, Industrial Design, Quality, Supply Chain/NPI, Manufacturing, and Product Management, the Hardware Engineering Project Manager also coordinates with external contract manufacturers (CMs) and component suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
This position reports to the Manager of Project & Program Management within the Hardware Engineering organization and is based out of our Carlsbad, CA headquarters.
As the Hardware Engineering Project Manager, you will:
Own the end-to-end program plan for one or more hardware products, from concept and feasibility through EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production (MP), including schedules, milestones, budgets, and exit criteria for each stage gate.
Drive weekly cross-functional build reviews and design reviews, tracking action items, engineering changes (ECOs/ECNs), open issues lists, and risk registers to closure.
Partner with Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, and Industrial Design leads to build integrated master schedules that reflect real engineering dependencies and proactively resurface schedule risk before it becomes schedule slip.
Manage relationships and day-to-day execution with contract manufacturers (CMs) and key component suppliers, including build planning, line-side support during EVT/DVT/PVT builds, and issue triage.
Lead pilot and mass-production ramp planning in partnership with Supply Chain and Operations, including yield tracking, capacity planning, and first-article inspection sign-off.
Manage program budget and BOM cost tracking against target cost, flagging cost or margin risk to product and finance stakeholders.
Own program-level risk management: identify technical, schedule, cost, and supply chain risks early, and drive mitigation plans with clear owners and dates.
Coordinate compliance, certification, and regulatory testing timelines (e.g., FCC, CE, UL, IC) to avoid downstream schedule impact.
Communicate program status, risks, and decisions needed to engineering leadership and executive stakeholders through regular program reviews, dashboards, and milestone readouts.
Travel to contract manufacturer and supplier sites as needed to support critical builds, bring-up, and issue resolution.
Continuously improve program management processes, templates, and stage-gate criteria across the hardware engineering organization.
You have:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
7+ years of experience as a project manager or program manager leading hardware product development, with direct, hands-on ownership of EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production (MP) stage gates.
Demonstrated track record shipping consumer electronics, connected devices, or precision hardware products (e.g., optics, sensors, wearables) from concept to volume production.
Working knowledge of hardware development fundamentals: PCBA/electrical design, mechanical/tooling development, DFM/DFA, BOM management, and reliability/compliance testing.
Experience managing contract manufacturers and overseas suppliers, including on-site build support in Asia.
Proven ability to build and manage integrated program schedules) and track issues/risks across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Strong executive communication skills, with experience presenting program status and trade-offs to senior leadership.
You might have:
Experience in the golf, sports technology, optics, or consumer wearables industries.
Familiarity with GPS, laser rangefinding, radar, or camera-based sensor systems.
PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project/program management certification.
Experience with PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Arena, Windchill, PTC) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) for BOM and change management.
Background partnering with regulatory/compliance teams on FCC, CE, IC, or similar certifications for connected hardware.
Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or DFSS training.
Experience standing up or improving hardware NPI/stage-gate processes at a growing company.
